Marine Surveyor Consultant Sagl provides independent Navigational Audits to help Owners and Managers verify that navigation is conducted in line with the Company’s SMS Nautical Procedures and recognised best practice.

How the audit is performed

Whenever feasible, the audit is conducted in dynamic conditions during a sea passage, including:

• port departure

• sea passage

• arrival / pilotage interface

This approach provides a realistic view of bridge team performance and procedural compliance, which cannot be fully assessed through port visits or paper reviews alone.

Remote Navigational Assessment + VDR Audit

For additional assurance, we also provide remote navigational assessments, supported by VDR/SVDR data analysis and documentation review. This service offers an objective check of navigational practices and helps identify human-factor and procedural trends.
